There was a time when I felt as though I was just surviving.
Today, I feel strong in my body, clear in my thinking and confident about the future. I wake up with energy. I move without pain. I can hold my thoughts with ease, express myself clearly, and stay calm under pressure. My memory feels sharper, my mood steadier, and my relationships richer.
It didn’t happen overnight. But it did happen.
Years earlier, I had worked relentless hours during one of the most stressful jobs of my life. I thought I was coping. I didn’t realise the toll that prolonged stress was quietly taking on my body and brain.
By the time I reached midlife, the impact caught up with me. I was living with chronic pain. I was carrying extra weight. I would forget what I was saying mid-sentence and struggle to find the right words. My thinking felt cloudy. I was more anxious and irritable than I recognised myself to be. Privately, I worried whether my capability at work might be questioned.
But small, consistent changes began to turn everything around.
I lost 28 pounds - and have never regained it. The chronic pain eased and eventually disappeared. The brain fog lifted (and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to think clearly again). My mood stabilised. My memory improved. I felt like myself again.
What changed? I stopped relying on willpower and started making intentional, science-backed choices that support my brain and body every single day. Not perfectly. But consistently.
Now, I choose habits that nourish my body and protect my brain - because I know how much better life feels when I do.
And I would love for you to experience that same clarity, confidence and strength in midlife too.

I believe that even in midlife, you have far more influence over your health, energy and mental sharpness than you may have been led to believe. Small, intentional lifestyle choices - made consistently and with self-compassion - can make a profound difference to how you think, feel and move as you age.
My mission is to guide people in their 50s and 60s towards sustainable, science-based habits that support long-term health and help reduce reliance on unnecessary medication. Through practical guidance and supportive coaching, I help you build more energy, clearer thinking and greater confidence - so you can stay engaged in life now and look to the future with optimism.
My mother and grandmother both had early-onset dementia so I thought I was predestined to travel down this same, heart-breaking route. It was such a relief to learn that there are so many things I can do right now that will have a positive impact on my brain in the years to come.

I now appreciate the huge impact things can have on our brain and overall health. I am more aware of my diet, sleep, toxins and head trauma and how I can live in a way that will help my overall health as well as looking after my brain.

The knowledge I’ve gained has helped me take more control of my health, and taught me that my brain can respond positively to the changes I put in place. In particular, I’ve learnt that doing things I enjoy is not self-indulgent but beneficial for my health.
