I'm so proud of you for signing up to the 40-Day Sugar Fast!
If you had a little internal battle over whether to sign up or not, I totally understand.
For the first 50 years of my life I ate as much sugar as the next person. I never really thought about it. My day started with sugar-coated breakfast cereal, toast and jam and carried on from there: cake, chocolate bars, biscuits and ready meals were my daily staples.
Until a few years ago. At that time, I had to go on my own sugar-free diet for several months for health reasons. I was gutted at first and found it hard to imagine life without my sweet 'treats' but I was quickly amazed by three things: First, how much better I felt; I was supercharged with energy. Second, that my skin looked brighter and younger. Third, that I was able to think more clearly.
I can hand-on-heart say that I wouldn't swap how I feel now by going back. This way of eating has literally changed my taste buds, my relationship with sugar and my life. My hope is that the 40-Day Sugar Fast will be a launchpad to a more vibrant future for you too.
